Overview

The Positive Parenting programme exists to reach out to parents and guardians to promote positive parenting skills as they take care of the children in their care. The programme helps to create a better environment in the home for orphans and vulnerable children as parents and guardians receive information on how to take care of the children. It positively impacts the community as parents work together to transform the lives of the children. There is acceptance of each other, among the parents and in the community, which continues after the programme. A total of 27 ladies took part in the programme before lockdown in 2020.
